CTIA is the largest event in North America, dedicated to mobile communications. CTIA 2013 is a one-stop shop to connect and do business with the entire mobile ecosystem and WebNMS M2M is fortunate to be a part of the show for the first time in CTIA.
Globally, the M2M market is expected to present a $136 billion business opportunity by 2018 and given the international relevance of this event and latest M2M innovations that are redefining our lives, we decided to be a part of CTIA 2013.
In earlier shows mobile phone manufacturers (Nokia, Samsung) and network vendors (Cisco, NSN, and Ericsson) dominated the exhibition floor area. Whereas in this year we could realize areas like M2M, Big data analytics, Cloud , Mobile marketing & advertising are gearing up and gaining importance in mobile & wireless ecosystem. And most of the sessions in the three day schedule revolved around M2M, Big data and BYOD.
Several of the big players were resonating M2M management and we had a chance to connect with 1,000 exhibitors and 35,000+ professionals across the mobile ecosystem. There were lots of genuine interest post our demo on WebNMS M2M applications.
WebNMS M2M platform and four of our tailor-made solutions (ATM Site Manager, Cell Tower Manager, Power Grid Monitoring Solution and Road Infrastructure Manager) gained traction in the show and its scalable and flexible architecture, REST based open APIs, intuitive GUI distinguished it from other M2M players.
M2M is not just a hype and lots of exciting applications will explode in enterprise value-chain and in consumer market in the coming years. The early movers in M2M space will share the huge pie of $136 billion revenue !!!
